FICO shear spray system

The FICO shear spray system is used for the metering,
mixing and spraying of the water/lubricant mixture which
is then used for the cooling and lubrication of the glass
gob shears.
FEATURES
- Spraying capacity: 0 - 480 liters of mixture / hour.
- Water required: reverse osmosis or demineralized water.
- Lubricant required: water soluble or emulsifiable.
- Ratio: adjustable from 1: 100 to 1: 1500 (1% to 0.06%).

AUTOMATION

- Continuous, graphical and historical display of the concentration, the consumption of the mixture sprayed per feeder, pressures, flow rates and temperatures.
- Remote display and operation of display screens: setting of setpoint thresholds, recovery and monitoring of FICO Central activities (via Ethernet link).
- Data exchange for recovery in the factory supervision using MODBUS TCP / IP mode.
- USB mass storage and export of data and incident history (in Excel format) over approximately 10 days.
- 2 withdrawable relays for remote signaling of FICO control unit faults and flash signaling.
- Integrated stainless steel manifold for mixture distribution: one mixture outlet for each feeder. Each mixture spray line is equipped with a digital display flow-rate sensor(located above the FICO control unit or close to the production line).

FICO lubrification system for tubes/guides

The FICO lubrication system is dedicated to lubricate the tubes & chutes located between the shear blades and the scoops to accelerate the distribution of gobs in the delivery system.
The FICO system directly carries the lubricant (neat oil) from its packaging and then maintains the distribution lines which supply each of the machines producing glass items (jars, bottles, vials, tableware), under low pressure.
The control of the atomizers located at the end of the line is then controlled by the production machine: 1 opening every X gob passages.

- removable relays for remote signaling of the FICO system defects and flash reporting,
- integrated manifold for lubricant distribution: one outlet for each production machine.
